Abstract Description : Online schools often serve at-risk students, and their success isn’t always easy to capture in traditional accountability methods. But it can be done! State accountability frameworks have restarted since the nationwide pause during the pandemic. Most states now have 1-2 years' worth of concurrent measures that have been collected, calculated, and compared to other schools and the state average. This session will focus on dissecting each measure and creating data-driven structures to increase performance.
By the end of the session, you will know how to create a Continuous Accountability Monitoring Plan (C.A.M.P.), a tool to proactively track and report on accountability data. Stride State Accountability Specialist Ben Gerhardt will give a brief overview on the elements of C.A.M.P. as well as questions that need to be answered in order for each school's plan to be properly initiated.
