Abstract Description : Are you a school leader looking for innovative ways to strengthen your online learning environment? Is your staff feeling disconnected? Are your systems and processes lacking cohesion? Do you need fresh, practical strategies to engage students and families better?
In this session, you'll discover how to use powerful Google tools, along with effective automated processes, and proven techniques to foster community, enhance collaboration, and create consistency—all essential components of a successful virtual school.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to develop an implementation plan for enhancing communication and collaboration among staff, including the use of:
Google Forms to collect necessary information and use the data to guide decision-making
Google Sheets and Autocrat (a free Google extension) for automation - the creation of published documents and communication can be done for you, to any one stakeholder or group of stakeholders!
Google Site as a “HUB” for all staff resources
Google Classroom to connect your entire school community
Use a live Google Calendar to keep all stakeholder groups informed and on track
Gmail Chats for designated staff groups for ongoing connection, support, and training resources
At the end of this session, participants will gain inspiration for improving engagement and support strategies for learners and families.
