Abstract Description : In this presentation, our student tutors and teacher leader will share how we built our virtual Peer Tutoring Center, the strategies we use to support one another, and the ways it has helped our school community succeed. We’ll highlight the steps we took to design the program, the training and leadership opportunities for students, and the positive impact on both tutors and peers. Join us as we showcase how student-led tutoring fosters confidence, collaboration, and academic growth.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to design and implement a student-led peer tutoring center, including strategies for training, organization, and sustainability.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to explore the benefits of peer tutoring for both tutors and tutees, including increased academic confidence, collaboration, and school-wide community growth.
