Abstract Description : AI adoption in schools is accelerating faster than most districts can evaluate its impact—resulting in scattered pilots, wasted resources, and overwhelmed teachers. This 110-minute leadership workshop introduces the AI Vetting Blueprint, a replicable framework that helps districts make confident, criteria-driven decisions about which tools to implement, pause, or sunset. Participants unpack five pillars of responsible vetting through live case studies and guided analysis. Using real vendor samples, teams apply the framework to identify red flags and co-design transparent, scalable AI adoption plans. Leaders leave equipped with a ready-to-use evaluation checklist, vendor question bank, and 30–60–90 rollout roadmap that align innovation with safety, learning value, and trust.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to apply an values-based AI Vetting Blueprint to evaluate classroom and district tools for safety, equity, and instructional value.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to design a transparent tool selection process that empowers educators and strengthens system-level alignment between innovation and governance.
