Abstract Description : This book study invites K–12 educators and school leaders to explore The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, a powerful analysis of how smartphones and social media are impacting youth mental health. Through guided discussion, participants will examine Haidt’s research and its implications for digital learning environments. The session will focus on practical strategies for fostering healthier tech habits, starting conversations in your school community, and rethinking school policies around device use. Attendees will collaborate, reflect, and leave with actionable ideas to support student well-being in your school.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to summarize key findings from The Anxious Generation and make connections to their current teaching and learning environments
