Abstract Description : This Pecha Kucha presentation shares key findings from a qualitative research study examining how education practitioners, researchers, and edtech developers collaborate to design more meaningful learning technologies. The study identified twelve indicators - or levers - that foster high-quality cross-sector partnerships, highlighting the structural, relational, and cultural practices that enable collaboration to thrive. Participants will quickly move through each lever. The session will emphasize concrete, actionable strategies that conference attendees can apply to strengthen partnerships in their own organizations or initiatives. The combination of visual storytelling with quick-moving insights makes Pecha Kucha an appropriate format for this content.
Learning Objectives:
Identify and understand twelve key indicators that foster effective cross-sector collaboration between educators, researchers, and edtech developers - and which may also be applied in their own contexts.
Explore practical strategies for applying these levers to strengthen partnerships, improve co-designed educational technologies, and enhance learner-centered outcomes.
