Abstract Description : This session demonstrates how intentional use of learning studios, progress checklists, and formative data transforms classrooms into student-driven environments. Participants will learn how to design systems that promote ownership, pacing, and accountability—while freeing teachers to focus on targeted instruction.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of this session, participants will be able to describe how checklists, learning studios, and formative data work together to promote student ownership, pacing, and accountability.
  • At the end of this session, participants will be able to demonstrate how to design a simple checklist and studio rotation model that supports differentiated instruction and targeted small-group teaching.
