Dr. Allison Powell is the Chief Academic Officer of DLAC, the Community Advancing Digital Learning, a membership organization that highlights key digital learning issues, shares data and best practices, and supports practitioners, policymakers, advocates, and media. She was previously Senior Learning Strategist at BloomBoard, helping states and districts rethink professional development and licensing, and Vice President for New Learning Models at iNACOL, a leader in K–12 blended, online, and competency-based learning. Allison has taught in face-to-face, online, and blended K–8 settings, and helped launch Clark County School District's Virtual High School and online professional development. She has served on multiple boards and university advisory groups. Allison earned her doctorate in educational technology and leadership from Pepperdine University.
