Andy Chapman is an Assistant Principal at Georgia Connections Academy, a full-time virtual public charter school serving K–5 students across Georgia. With over 15 years of experience in education, Andy started as a classroom teacher, where he helped students develop challenging math skills while building confidence and mastery. His career has advanced into school administration, where he now collaborates with leadership to guide instruction, support teachers, and strengthen the school culture in a dynamic online environment.
Andy’s leadership philosophy is based on the belief that students need not only great teachers but also great role models who demonstrate respect, kindness, and perseverance. He integrates data-driven practices, organizational leadership, and creativity—including using a puppet mascot, Stuart—to engage families and inspire student success.
