Abstract Description : Leading with Vision will help school leaders drive change through vision and strategic planning.
In this session, Oregon Charter Academy will share its story of organizational improvement to model how visionary leadership and strategic planning can lead to significant change. Visionary leadership and strategic planning led to Oregon Charter Academy becoming an independent virtual public charter school, improving its technology and hands-on learning offerings, building and curating responsive curriculum, and growing pathways to success for all students. These changes have led to many accomplishments, including being a Cognia “School of Distinction”, voted “Best Charter School” and “Best Leadership” five years in a row, and increasing the graduation rate 24% over the past two years.
Attendees will leave this session inspired to continue to push for programmatic growth within the school and gain the tools and insight on how to get started.
