Abstract Description : People leading is changing and effective leadership is no longer effective management. How do you identify areas of focus for your team? How do you communicate those areas or adapt to what the team needs? In 2025, we believe this is best done by leading with questions. In this session, we will discuss how our open ended teacher self-reflection process at Georgia Virtual School led us to more reflective, adaptive leadership initiatives. We will share what we learned along the way and the how-to's for designing a question-answer-lead culture for your organizational leaders that will transform everyone in the organization into creative, curious forward thinkers.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will understand what leading with questions means, what it looks like in practice, and what it is not.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to design 2-3 questions to ask their stakeholders and begin the process of adjusting organizational norms to meet the needs outlined in the answers given.
