Abstract Description : Professional learning communities (PLCs) thrive on inquiry—but collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data can stall progress. This 110-minute workshop shows how AI can help teams move from discussion to discovery faster by streamlining the action-research process. Participants will explore how AI supports each phase of inquiry, from identifying problems of practice to generating insights and next steps, using commonly available AI tools. Through guided modeling, small-group data labs, and collaborative design, participants will learn how to keep reflection and decision-making authentically human while letting AI take on the heavy lifting of data analysis. The session culminates in a co-created framework for AI-accelerated PLC cycles, helping PLCs sustain momentum, deepen insight, and turn evidence into action at the speed of learning.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to Integrate AI tools within PLCs to streamline the action-research process through data-informed planning, analyzing, and reflecting more efficiently.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to develop an AI-supported inquiry model that accelerates teacher-led improvement cycles while preserving human judgment and collaboration.
