Elissa Gelleny is Shad's Director of Digital Programs, holds a BSc in Biology, a BEd conjoint with a Technology Education Diploma, and spent almost two decades as an educator in K-12 schools before joining Shad's National Team. Elissa provides leadership and oversight of Shad’s virtual summer STEAM and leadership program, working with partners from within and beyond educational institutions to provide highly intentional and meaningful online opportunities for youth in Canada (and beyond!). Elissa is passionate about innovative approaches that reimagine the future of education.
