Dr. Allison Galvin is the executive director for Oregon Charter Academy (ORCA, formerly known as Oregon Connections Academy). She has been in education since 2002 as a math teacher and instructional coach in the Salem-Keizer School District, and a school administrator with ORCA.
In addition to her role at ORCA, Allison has also served as an adjunct professor for Corban University, where she taught courses in classroom management and methods of teaching mathematics and worked closely with graduate and undergraduate students who were preparing for careers in education.
Because of her dedication and great work, she has been invited to lead professional development for many sessions through Oregon's Summer Institute program—a program dedicated to supporting the state's top educators.
