Amy Dishman Wilcox is the Elementary Principal at Georgia Connections Academy, a statewide virtual charter school serving over 2,000 K–5 students. With more than 14 years of experience in virtual education, Amy was a founding teacher at GACA and has served as principal for the past 11 years. She holds a Specialist Degree in Literacy from Georgia State University and is completing her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. A recipient of the Visionary Award, Amy has presented at multiple state and national conferences on digital learning, literacy, and leadership. She is passionate about reimagining education through innovation, family partnerships, and student-centered systems that ensure equity and success for all learners.
