Dr. Ryan Wamser has served as a classroom teacher, a high school assistant principal, an elementary school principal, an assistant regional superintendent, and a district superintendent. Currently, he serves as the Director of School Improvement for ROE #40, leading initiatives to enhance school effectiveness across the region, and Director of the Illinois Area 5 SEL Hub, championing social and emotional learning (SEL) efforts in southwestern Illinois. The Area 5 SEL Hub has delivered over 1,000 workshops, conferences, coaching sessions, and PD opportunities to more than 10,000 educators over the past 4 years.
