Sarah Nommensen brings over 20 years of experience in education, with a career dedicated to equity, innovation, and leadership. Sarah currently is the Principal of Uta Halee Academy, a residential treatment facility and level 3 special education school. Previously, she was the Assistant Director of Omaha Virtual School. She leads with a focus on personalized learning, trauma-informed practices, and community partnerships. Her work centers on reengaging students in their education while building sustainable systems of support that prepare them for long-term success.
